My Best Friend

     My best friend is Rose, a girl who was my neighbor in my childhood. We had a lot of fun together during our elementary school days. But her family moved to another city when we were in the fifth grade. We have been in touch with each other since then by writing and making phone calls. On the first day when met again, we went to celebrate our reunion. She means a lot of me and I will cherish her friendship forever.   

Big Yawn Cools Head？

     Today, I find a special way to solve the yawn from magazine. Scientists have a cool new explanation for the yawn. In studies, they found that holding a cold pack to the forehead can stop yawning. Yawning can lower the brain's temperature and keep your brain cool. This is important because a cool brain keeps your mind sharp. 

Learning a Second Language

     Now, I am learning the French language in semester. But I feel difficult to me. Learn a second language is very important. Maybe I can chat with foreigners in another language, not just mother tongue. The right way to learn a second language is to practice every time. But active study is also very important. Just trying to speak a second language will help me learn. Don't give up if I encounter difficulties. 

In An Extended Family

     Although nuclear families have become the mainstream in our society in recent years, I prefer to live in an extended family. I was brought up in an extended family. My parents take it for granted that they should arrange a warm and healthy life for their aged parents. Because we always try to understand each other and accept different opinions, the generation gap does not exist in my family. I strongly believe that the extended family is the better family type for modern society.
   

A Saving Embrace

     Today, I read a touching story in magazine. This story tells me a mother's love is powerful indeed. When a baby girl was born after only six months, the doctors gave up on her. She's tiny heart was barely beating. Heartbroken and in tears, her mother decided to hold her dying baby one last time. When she took baby in her arms, the baby's heart started beating normally. Wow, mother's love gave her daughter bigger powerful. Now the newborn is fit and healthy. 

Happy Birthday To Sydney

     November 29, 2010. Kelly, Sandy and I went to 果腹之家 to celebrate Sydney's twenty years old birthday. That's right. This was the third times eating in this semester. We thought to the restaurant's meals are not bad. I remembered experience last time, so I didn't order many foods to eat. Later, we took a lot of pictures and gave Sydney's birthday gifts. I hope Sydney will like a gift. This celebrated party would let her have an unforgettable memory.
